COLON HYDROTHERAPY
It’s an open system on a luxury reclining toilet bed. Insertion is self-insertion, the room is private, and you control the fill and the release. The therapist is not in the room with you during the session.

You’ll complete an intake form before you arrive. We’ll go over your gut history, then take you to a private room and show you how the open, gravity-fed system works. You insert on your own, and you control the flow and the release. The therapist is not in the room during the session.

You may feel fullness or cramping as the colon moves. It should not be sharp pain. Because you control the flow and the release, you can slow down anytime.
Night before: no heavy meals, no alcohol, no narcotics. Stay hydrated. Day of: no coffee, no alcohol, no narcotics. Eat a light meal 2–3 hours before your session. If you get heartburn, make that meal 3 hours before.
A first session is about 30 minutes of colonic time. Plan to be at the clinic for 1½ hours. Follow-ups are 30–45 minutes of colonic time, with about 1 hour 15 minutes in clinic.
Everyone’s different. A lot of people more energetic and feel lighter. Some feel detox symptoms like a headache. That depends on the person.
Yes. Eat afterwards. We email you an aftercare guide with what to do next and how to eat.
It depends on the person. A gut-reset / detox protocol is usually 4–6 sessions, booked no more than a week apart. After that, maintenance is up to you. Most people do a reset 1–2 times a year. If there’s active disease or a bigger health load, we may suggest 2–3 times a year. We also run separate protocols for candida, parasites, and weight loss. You’ll go over which one fits at your initial intake with your therapist.
These are the people who cannot have a colonic at our clinic:
- Kidney (renal) failure
- Liver cirrhosis
- Heart failure
- Intestinal perforation
- Crohn’s disease
- Ulcerative colitis
- Diverticulitis
- Lupus
- Abdominal hernia
- Pregnancy
- Anal fissures
- Colon cancer
Hemorrhoids: If they are severe, bleeding, operated on, or treated — no. If hemorrhoids have bled, wait 3 weeks from the last time you saw blood on wiping.
Mobility: You can come with an attendant. If you need an attendant and don’t have one, we cannot do the colonic here.
Surgery: Any colon or abdominal surgery, abdominal repair, or liposuction in the last 6 months must be cleared with us first. We may ask for a doctor’s note. If you’ve had any recent surgery, confirm with us before booking.
Weight: We cannot treat anyone over 300 lb or under 80 lb.
Age: We cannot treat anyone over 80. Anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign off and be present.
PEMF THERAPY
PEMF stands for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy. It uses controlled, pulsing electromagnetic fields delivered through specialized applicators to expose the body to electromagnetic pulses.
Pulse PEMF systems generate rapidly changing electromagnetic fields that pass through the body’s tissues.
Pulse explains that these electromagnetic fields can interact with cellular structures and cellular signaling. The company’s educational materials discuss effects involving the cell membrane and the movement of substances across the membrane.
The goal of PEMF wellness sessions is to provide the body with a controlled electromagnetic stimulus as part of a broader approach to recovery and cellular wellness.
No. There are no pads sending electrical current through your skin. It’s a magnetic pulse from a coil, not a TENS machine.
Tapping, pulsing, or a small muscle twitch where the paddle is. Sometimes you feel almost nothing on a low setting. If it’s too strong, we turn it down.
Usually 30–90 minutes.
PEMF is generally best viewed as a consistent wellness practice rather than a one-time treatment.
The appropriate frequency depends on your goals, schedule and individual circumstances. Many clients choose to incorporate PEMF into their regular wellness and recovery routine.
Stay very hydrated. We encourage nutrient-dense electrolytes and vitamins beforehand they help the session land. Pulse recommends no food for 2 hours before. Day of: comfortable clothes. Phones, watches, key fobs, and large metal jewelry off. Water before and after. No stimulants (coffee), and no narcotics or anything that makes you drowsy.
Yes. PEMF can be incorporated into an Angel wellness session alongside services such as:
- Colon hydrotherapy
- Infrared sauna
- Nutritional wellness support
Combining modalities allows us to approach wellness from multiple directions rather than relying on a single modality.
Pulse PEMF’s wellness materials discuss applications including:
- Recovery and post-exercise wellness
- Muscle relaxation and recovery
- Chronic pain
- Supporting overall cellular wellness
- Relaxation and sleep
- Energy and vitality
- Athletic recovery and performance
PEMF has become popular in sports and recovery settings because sessions can be incorporated into a recovery routine without requiring physical exertion.
At Angel, PEMF can be incorporated into a broader wellness routine alongside hydration, infrared sauna and nutritional strategies.
You cannot have PEMF at our clinic if you have:
- A pacemaker, defibrillator, cochlear implant, insulin pump, or any implanted / attached electronic device. A pump has to come off or it cannot be done — PEMF affects anything electrical.
- An organ transplant
- A known blood clot
- Active bleeding of any kind — including a period, or bleeding after surgery
- Pregnancy
- Active chemotherapy or immunosuppressant use. Wait until chemo is finished, or about 4 days after.
Metal implants are not an automatic no. Put them on the intake form and tell your therapist at the first appointment.
INFRARED SAUNA
Ours is a full-spectrum infrared sauna (Sunlighten). Infrared light heats the body. It’s milder than a traditional hot sauna about 100–170°F — so you’re not sitting in blasting heat. You sit. You sweat.
Infrared heats tissue and raises core temperature. That drives sweating, circulation, and the heat load we use in a detox setting. Full-spectrum means near, mid, and far infrared in one cabin.
We book 30 or 60 minutes. The useful window most protocols use is 20–45 minutes, depending on what you’re there for. Exact time is set to the person.
We provide slippers, towels, and water. Bring electrolyte water.
There is no shower here. We also don’t want you showering for up to 24 hours after. The heat load keeps working. A shower cuts it off. We’re a detox clinic — showering is not part of the protocol here.
No sauna if you are pregnant, have unstable heart disease, a recent heart attack, a fever, or you’re intoxicated.
Low or high blood pressure is not an automatic no — we change the temperature.
Implants (metal or electronic): put it on the intake form and tell your therapist.
Also tell us if you’re on blood-pressure meds, diuretics, beta-blockers, or a medication patch. Heat changes how some of those sit in the body.
Yes. Book any one on its own, or do all three in the Ultimate Detox Package — colonic, Pulse PEMF, and infrared sauna in one visit. That hits the three systems we work on here: gut motility, nervous system, and cellular environment.
